1. Introduction / About

WeSeong operates to handle repetitive tasks in daily life and document work, such as checking the number of characters, organizing text, and URL and Base64 encoding, in a single service. Webhook and DNS request verification are separated into auxiliary tools for development and verification, and each tool specifies the scope of functionality, criteria for calculating results, and key considerations.

Public tools prioritize processing within the browser. If server storage is required to provide functionality, we minimize the scope of processing and retention periods, and disclose the scope of processing and methods of deletion on the relevant pages and in our privacy policy.

2. Introduction of the Operator and Author

The WeSeong operator is responsible for developing the service's functionality, operating the infrastructure, managing security, responding to failures, and creating documentation and service change logs.

Blogs and guides display the actual author or final reviewer, and manage the date of initial publication and the date of the last review and modification of the content.

3. Inquiries

Functional errors, content corrections, improvement suggestions, and general inquiries should be submitted to the general inquiry address. Requests for viewing, correction, or deletion of personal information and requests for restriction of processing should be submitted separately to the dedicated personal information address, and processed after verification of identity and review of the applicable criteria.

4. Editing and review principles

WeSeong applies the following editing and review standards to all tool descriptions, guides, and blog posts.

  • Before publishing, manually verify that the actual tool behavior matches the instructional text.
  • Legislation, product specifications, and security standards are verified first through official documents and primary sources.
  • Distinguish verifiable facts, operational experience, and opinions, and if errors are identified, correct the content and update the revision date.
  • The translation is reviewed for the meaning of the Korean original text and whether technical terms are preserved, and translations that do not meet the standards are not published, but the Korean original text is provided.

5. Legal scope of use of security testing tools

Webhook Test functions such as redirect are operated for normal development, verification, and approved security checks, and the scope is limited based on the following criteria:

  • The allowed targets are limited to systems that are owned and managed by the user or systems that have received explicit test approval from the owner.
  • Unauthorized access, collection of accounts and personal information, interference with services, circumvention of access controls, and use for the purpose of third-party attacks are prohibited.
  • Test data is primarily virtual data that replaces actual passwords, authentication keys, and personal information. Generated logs are deleted after the purpose is achieved.
  • It is the responsibility of the tool user to identify and comply with the laws, contracts, and security policies that apply to the scope of use.

6. Author, date of posting, date of modification, and reference materials for each article

WeSeong distinguishes and displays the following information to ensure that the content is the responsibility of the provider, the time of publication, and its freshness.

  • Author: Displays the person who authored the text or the person who reviewed it, or the entity that operated it.
  • Date posted: Displays the date the article was first published.
  • Modified Date: Displays the date on which the content was modified or the baseline data was updated.
  • Reference material: For fact-checking, the source and link are displayed in the body of the article or in the reference section. Operational notices without external sources and self-modified records are written with a focus on verifiable changes and the time of application.
