These are the actual data processing, storage, and deletion criteria used in the WeSeong service.

WESEONG PRIVACY

WeSeong (weseong.com, referred to as "the Site") operates Webhook, DNS log, and encoding tools. This policy outlines the standards for the collection, use, storage, deletion, and access control of personal information, as well as the handling of user requests during the operation of the service.

1. The type of information being processed and its purpose.

The website operator processes the following information within the scope necessary for providing functionality, separating data by user, ensuring security, responding to incidents, and improving service quality.

  • General access information: IP address, request time and path, errors, and security events
  • Account usage information: User name, login method and status, session information, and security events
  • Webhook request information: Please refer to the "Webhook and DNS Log" section below for the details of the request.
  • Settings information: Selected website language and anonymous Webhook management session.

2. Webhooks and DNS logs

Items to be collected

When a request arrives via the Webhook URL, information such as the request timestamp, IP address and port, request ID, HTTP method, request path, protocol, headers, body, query/form parameters, Webhook token, and anonymous session identifier can be stored.

Using DNS functionality, information such as the request timestamp, query name and type, DNS headers, client and transport IP and port, query ID, ECS-related information, DNS tokens, and anonymous session identifiers can be stored.

Data handling standards for sensitive information

New Webhook When saving the log Authorization, Cookie, Proxy-Authorization and Telegram The secret token header is excluded from the data to be stored. Values included in the request body or parameters can be recorded in the received form, and the website does not collect personal information or authentication information such as passwords, authentication keys, and resident registration numbers, which are not necessary for providing functionality. The same storage and deletion criteria as below are applied to logs containing these values.

Usage and Access

The logs display the results of request reception to the user, and provide Webhook and DNS functionality. They are used for preventing misuse and investigating issues. Regular visitors can only view and delete logs associated with their anonymous management session, while site administrators can access the logs for service operation and security purposes.

Storage and deletion

  • Webhook and DNS request logs are stored for 30 days from the time they are received, and then automatically deleted through a cleanup process. Hidden logs on the screen are also subject to the same criteria.
  • The website offers individual and bulk deletion features on the Webhook log screen, allowing users to directly delete their logs even from 30 days ago.
  • Anonymous Webhook management privileges are maintained for 7 days after the last use, and can be renewed if the account is used again.

3. Cookies and similar technologies on the website

The website may use cookies and similar technologies to provide functionality, ensure security, and deliver advertising.

ui_language This saves the language setting (Korean, English, Chinese, or Japanese) selected by the user. This data is retained during the browser session and is deleted when the browser is closed.
webhook_anon_session The system manages and distinguishes between the Webhook URL, DNS token, and personal logs for users who have not logged in. The trial period is 7 days from the last use, and it may be renewed upon use.
session Log in, protect against CSRF attacks, and maintain secure sessions. General browsing sessions and login sessions are limited to a maximum of 3 hours.

The `ui_language` and Webhook management cookies are set to HttpOnly and use the SameSite=Lax attribute to prevent them from being read in JavaScript. In the production environment, the Secure attribute is used.

4. Advertising and Google Services

The public page may display Google AdSense advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies, as well as access information, to provide, measure, and prevent misuse of advertisements, and to personalize advertisements based on user settings. Webhook and administration/management pages do not display advertisements.

EEA, UK, and Swiss users are provided with consent and choice through Google-certified CMPs when advertising is displayed.

5. Providing and Delegating Information and Processing

Website operators will not disclose or sell personal information to third parties unless required by law or with the user's consent. They will only provide hosting, database, and security operation services to the service provider when necessary, and the operator will manage the scope of processing and protective measures.

6. User Requests and Inquiries

For inquiries regarding the access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent for personal information, please contact the designated personal information address. The website operator will verify the requester's identity and applicable laws before responding with the processing outcome.

7. Policy Changes

This policy will be updated to reflect actual operating standards if the method of service processing or legal requirements change. Important changes will be announced on the website before implementation, and the revised policy will include an effective date.
